On the road again...

I left Colorado Springs on Saturday the 22nd, and drove to Bowie, TX, home of BBTI.  BBTI is the linguistic school that I attended in 2009.  They keep apartments open for missionaries traveling through, so I got to stay there and visit with Immanuel Baptist Church in Decatur, TX.  This is a home away from home for me.  Those folks sure seem to love me!
While I was there I got to visit with Billie Sloan and her son and daughter-in-law, David and Jolene.  I have great admiration for this woman, who has served as a missionary almost all her life.  Her husband was a pediatrician, and all of her 8 children serve the Lord in some capacity.
I got to each lunch with Pastor and Mrs. Horton and the Sloans, and dinner with Earnie and Raylinda Flores, future missionaries to Mexico.  These are some of my many prayer warriors!
Today, the 24th, I drove from Bowie to Tyler, TX and plan to hit the road for Chattanooga, TN tomorrow.  Thanks for praying for my safety.
